As a fan of insults and the penache' with which they are spoken, i'll like to present just a few of the big names in history who have, elevated my interest into wanting to learn more...most of these 'praiseworthy efforts' may not be directed to anyone in perticular, and if you think they are directed to you, i might have had you in mind while typing this...
1. good ol Ab. Lincoln..."he can compress the most words into the smallest ideas better than any man i'v even seen."
2.anon..."His argument isas thin as the soup made by boiling the shadow of a chicken that had been starved to death."
3.Thomas Babington Macauulay on Socrates..."The more i read him, the less I wonder they poisoned him."
4.Rudyard Kipling..."A woman is only a woman; but a good cigar is a smoke." (aye aye..)
5.H.L.Mencken..."Democracy is a form religoen. It is the worship of jackels by jackasses."
6.Mozart: You are still very young. Why not begin with ballods?
Young Man: But you composed symphonies when you were only 10.
Mozart: True-but i did'nt ask how.
7.Anon..."My position Sir, does not allow me to argue with you. But if it ever came down to a choice of weapons, I should choose grammer." (INNNSULT...)
8.Ronald Regan, on loosing the hipee vote..."A hipee is someone who looks like tarzan, walks like jane and smells like Cheeta."
9.Anon...."I am free of all prejudice. I hate everyone equally."
10.Anon..."I am never wrong, I once thought i was wrong, turns out i was only mistaken." (not exactly an insult...but wouldnt you want to have a go at him..)
