manipal over, duke started. after almost 24 hours of virtually no sleep, cramped seats and lines and check in's, i finally reach my destination. a gazzillion expectations, most met, but non essential things like getting a roof to live under et all seem to be hanging on the thinest of threads. beautiful, sprawling student friendly campus is marred with security issues left right and center. homes look better than what one can expect at our own comfortable adobes in india, but costs will bring two generations on the road..atleats for the time being. this was day 1..i cant wait for what happens next.
